This page should be read in conjunction with GLAM-WIKI/Events, that page helps us prioritise possible events, this is more a checklist for organising them.

What you can and can't agree with partners

1. This isn't about promoting their institution, this is about working with them to make information on notable items in their collections available to a wider audience. We are only interested in collaborating with organisations that understand and accept this.
2. WikiMediaUK has a budget for tea and buns at such events, individual Wikimedians can tell potential partners that they will apply for this, but only the WikimediaUK board can decide which events to fund and by how much.

Promotion

Providing we don't do too many of these we can use geonotices to promote them to our editors.
