2010 Fundraising Summit/Key information

Wikimedia UK hosted a global Fundraising Summit for Wikimedia chapters and the Wikimedia Foundation. It took place in Bristol from 14th May 2010 to 16th May 2010. It was held at the Hewlett-Packard Labs. HP have kindly given us use of this venue free of charge and will also be providing lunches on all three days.

Travel

The nearest airport is Bristol International Airport. A list of venues that fly to Bristol is here. It includes most, if not all, European countries with chapters wishing to attend, and New York (well, it says New York - actually it's Newark, NJ!). Any chapter that can't fly direct to Bristol (Wikimedia Australia is the only one I can see) will need to fly to London (do you actually know where each participant live to say such a thing ???) They can then either catch a flight from there to Bristol, or Wikimedia UK can assist them in catching a train. The Wikimedia Foundation should be able to fly to Bristol via Newark.

Participants

If you plan to attend the summit, please add yourself to this list. Please also add when you intend to arrive and leave once you know. We expect people to arrive gradually during the Friday and will determine activities based on when people expect to get there. We expect to finish with the business of the summit by the end of Sunday morning, but may arrange some afternoon activities if people want to stay a little longer. Lunch has been arranged for all three days.
